Today I got notified that my score increased a few points back up to a 516. One Credit Card account went from a several thousand dollar balance to 0. Other than that nothing changed. Yea for 0 balances

Slight credit score rebound

Saturday, November 1st, 2008Several accounts are now showwing IIB (Included in Bankruptcy), but also accounts that had not been reported to all credit reporting agencies, are now being reported. This appears to have made the score drop to 509. Wow. That kinda sucks!
My wifes account now shows our Countrywide mortgage as IIB, which caused her score to drop to 570.

Thursday, October 23rd, 2008A few more accounts are showing included in bankruptcy. My credit score has now dropped to 523. My wifes is still up at 580 at this point.
Credit report shows some bankruptcy
Saturday, October 18th, 2008I got an e-amil from my Equifax score watch showing another credit score drop. Evidently some of my credit cards are reporting “Included in Bankruptcy” which dropped me to 553. My wifes also dropped for the same reason to a 580 now. How low will they go?
Drop in credit score for late payments
Wednesday, October 15th, 2008Well… It just started to drop. One of the credit cards reported a late payment on my credit report, and countrywide (our home mortgage) which is in my wifes name, shows a missed payment.
This two late payments dropped my score to 623, and my wifes dropped 100 points! Down to a 628. The bankruptcy doesn’t even appear yet. You can see what happens if you miss payments. Ouch!
